We need to talk about...
@Rita
When I was writing my review on the Born This Way foundation, I made a
question to myself ‘Is it worth a foundation that makes your bank account break
out in a second?’. I made a research and found four expensive foundations that
everybody swear to be the best. Let’s see if you can answer my question…
1. La Mer The Soft Fluid Long Wear Foundation SPF20 ($110)
A weightless texture meets luxurious, long
wear. This Soft Fluid Long Wear Foundation SPF 20 seamlessly blends soft color,
healing hydration and Miracle Broth. The promises are: Pores look refined and imperfections
virtually disappear. SPF and antioxidants help protect the complexion. New
color capsule technology helps color stay true – even in humidity. 1 oz.
It’s available in 15 shades.
This foundation is truly expensive, but you can't go to Google and search for good foundations and not see this in number one or two! If you don't believe, go to youtube, pick one famous beauty blogger and see what I'm teeling you.
2. Chanel Sublimage Le Teint ($135)
An exquisite
lightweight foundation with the ultimate sensorial touch. The creamy texture
offers buildable light-to-medium coverage for a glowing, healthy and luminous
look.
The signature
ingredient is Vanilla Planifolia along with the luminosity of Diamond Powder
and the comfort of plant-based ingredients to leave the complexion radiant,
revitalized and optimally hydrated. This foundation is accompanied by a brush
for enhanced application.
It's available
in 10 shades.
I almost forgot to tell that they offer the brush! It's a plus!
3. Sisley Sisleya Le Teint ($170)
This contains skincare, providing a youthful effect
make-up, instantly and throughout the day. They promise a complexion more
radiant, a much smooth skin, and make-up stays perfect for 8 hours. This skin
care formula combines many powerful anti-aging ingredients based on the latest
Sisley research.
The skin is more luminous instantly and with continue
usage it will become more luminous. Signs of fatigue are minimized. The
appearance of wrinkles is diminished. Skin is moisturized, plumped and firmer.
Oil-free formula, non-comedogenic, suitable for all skin types.
It’s available in 8 shades.
Being honest, I didn't try a lot of Sisley
products, so I can't say that I like or dislike this brand. But after reading
this, I really want to try this Foundation
4. Dior skin Airflash Spray Foundation ($62)
This light,
silk formula is delivered in an innovative misting spray that starts as a
liquid, then dries to a powder for an incredibly even, flawless and naturally
radiant finish. Buildable medium to full coverage. The result is instant: a
super-smooth, silken complexion that is radiant and glowing.
Airflash is
infused with oils that evaporate as soon as they touch the skin, leaving only
perfectly dispersed in super-fine pigments.
It’s available in 11
shades.
Now, can you answer my
question? Are they worth the money?
